The tree is our true neighbour. It pleases us with its flower, feeds us with fruit and soothes us its cool shades. It gives us air to help us to live on earth. But we do not treat this good friend well. We fell it mercilessly. Thus many forests are disappearing even now. Felling of trees disturbs the rco-system. The loss of trees will lead to less rain and fall of harvest. We are inviting danger of drought and soil erosion. Heat, pollution, flood, famine, disease, ugliness will engulf the earth. Birds and beasts will have no place to live in. Human beings will be at the point of peril. To save mankind forests should be preserved. Felling of trees must be stopped. Wood-fire, wooden furniture, etc. are to be put to disuse. We must save trees to save ourselves. The tree-awareness must be grown among the people. Plantation of trees must be taken up as a routine work with the motto of 'each one to plant one'. We must keep the eath greener, cleaner and safer for the future. What do you think about this matter?
