Birds are dying

The temperature is rising daily, birds are dying,
they are thirsty, try to sip water from water tapes,(see picture), we have set up some earthen water pots on the balcony roof, the birds can drink water, we refill them daily.
We have also hired a man; he will give cool water kept in earthen-pitches to persons moving on the street near our home. Many in my country do this. The earthen pots are kept in a small room, with a signboard on it , on which it is written ‘Pani-chhatraa’ in Hindi.
[b]Do you help birds, animals during summer to quench their thirst and hunger, if so how?

It's such a great thing that you care about thirsty birds and other people!
In my country we usually don't have to go without water for a long time, but if the climate changes and summers get hotter and drier we will need to do it too.
Here winter is the time when birds don't find enough food for themselves, so we leave out some grains and nuts that they can eat.

Early morning my daughter in law scatters rice grain on roof, the birds feed on that.

oh you are very kind friend to birds and animals
, you can even make a bird station from scrap materials with food and water, this is mostly applicable for migratory birds coming from colder regions like China during the "Ber" months, but it's not so cold now so I guess this is just endemic local birds that are being affected by global warming, let's all keep it up to keep the ecological balance

I think it is one of the greatest thing in the world to care for the animals and birds around you. I think not all the people have the heart love the mother nature and the beautiful creations around the world. I would request you to continue the good work you are doing. I hope all the people will try to provide food and water to the birds around them during this summer period. I think one way to increase the water around is to collecting rain water and putting them in openly so that there will be more rain and less hot situation in the world.

During the summer, we try to keep some water in our yard for the birds because we live on a heavily wooded lot and that means that there are a lot of birds around here year-round. Now, it is during the winter that tends to be worse for the animals because of the fact that there is a lack of food for them. For that reason, we will keep some bird feeders (mostly homemade ones that the kids have made) in the yard so that the birds will have something to eat when they are hungry.
