It is going to cost me right around $21.26 to get a cab to a destination that I will meet a friend of mine at. That is a lot of money in comparison to the distance, but I may do it. I do want to see them. Though now plans might change which will be good too, I'd rather pay the friend to come get me then for me to pay to and from ya know? I can't wait until things get more in order, they are, but I've not talked about it on here for my own reasons. How much would you pay a cabie to go about a 25 minute drive?

It would depend on how much I wanted or needed to get there. I guess I would have to pay what they asked if I needed it. That's the thing...those cab companies..especially where there is no public transportation available..knows that people NEED to get there and I think they just take advantage of that. I would rather give someone I knew money to take me somewhere if I could get away with it too.

I guess it would depend on how badly I wanted to see the friend. It will be more fun if they can come pick you up and it is really nice of you to offer to pay them.

It would cost a LOT more here to make that kind of drive! I would consider that a steal - but, then again, I'm in a big city...

That's probably equivalent to a ferry ticket to a nearby island here in our place. I have spent more than the usual to travel towards or with friends but I don't think I have spent that much on one ride. The most I have probably spent here is about 10-12 dollars but that's a two-hour travel on a van and that's to and from. However, our city is small, so I think I get the difference.

You can just have your friend pick you up and just pay for the gas or just give it to your friend. Over here I paid 3,500 yen (almost $40 I think) for 20-25 minutes drive,it was a lot of money for a cab over here, it was emergency too so I have to bite the cab rate
