Good day Fellow Mylotters, Being a writer, I always see to it that I spelled the word correctly. As some words denotes different meaning when misspelled. And since they are bringing a new meaning, often times, it somehow causes a misunderstanding. As the meaning of the new form word refer to an offensive one. Just like my friend who is not that careful when posting his status on his Facebook account. That, he always commit a mistakes in spelling his words. As an effect, some of his other friends are discussing and thinking if that posting was really meant for them or not.

spelling is very important in the creation of creative works. or even in ordinary exchanges. we should strive to make it correct everytime we write something. because if we continue to do so, it will become a habit and part of our system. i like it that you brought out this aspect of writing.

There is more to writing a language than just spelling. For instance, grammar is a pain for some writers. Punctuation counts also. Without all three, and the ability to see your writing as others see it, you can often write something that just leave people shaking their heads. I am betting that it is the whole package, and not just the spelling, that is your friend's problem.

I hate posting misspelled words, so I do recheck my statements before I post, but I still get careless oftentimes. In this modern times, where text messaging is a major way of communication, I have noticed younger people prone to misspelling because of them getting used to text messaging.
