Okay. I'm sorry. I try to be good and let the movie people do their remakes and I try to keep an open mind and not say much. I enjoy cerebral humor and sarcasm. Even the kind of humor that makes yourself look alittle bad. Know what I mean? I like GOOD humor. But this commercial/trailer for a movie coming out is just too much for me to bare. When I was young and living in my step father's house my step brother made me watch The Three Stooges nearly daily. I hated them then and I haven't changed my standing on their stupidity. Atleast when Groucho Marx and his brothers did something silly it was done with class and Groucho had such great dialogue you couldn't dislike his finesse. But now the Stooges are going to be here in movie form. OMG! They have no self respect, no respect for others, and real comedic talent at all. Is the movie capitol really that hard up for something to make? Obviously they are! I don't want to see it or see anymore trailers for the movie. I really hate those guys!! What are your thoughts on The Three Stooges?

you are so right. it might appeal tho to todays youth that seem to think the dumbest things, like cartoons are funny. like kids maybe. but ive seen grown men watch and it makes no sense. my sons and lots of others families are funnier then those guys. no talent at all. I think Laurel and Hardy was the best/.

Ya, Laurel and Hardy was pretty cute. I guess if men can thing Married With Children is funny they will like The Stooges too. Ugh! About the same mentality.

Did not care for them, did not watch them. I found them to be pointless. I also do not like comedy when you hurt someone.

Ya, same here pretty much. I do think that the Marx Brothers have more going for them than the Stooges ever did.

I knew of them, but I never really watched the originals very much. Seemed to be the same pattern, so after watching it a few times, you knew what was going to happen.
Yes, I've noticed that some of the remakes have no class at all. I'm sorry this one is so bad. Unfortunately, some of the things I've seen lately are like that. Some of the hip hop and rap songs are pretty classless and tasteless. But not all of them. I just don't feel like weeding through the badones to get to the good ones.
Take care.

I know and what gets me are the young girls that sing these songs in parking lots. They look and sound like they have no self-respect.
My husband has a friend who does only G-rated rap and hip hop. He doesn't like the message the others send to teens.

If I hadn't had a stepbrother who insisted on watching them I never would have. The rapper and hip hops have such disrespectful slang for woman now days. Like calling a woman the b word. I dislike this very much.

hi celticeagle oh the marx brothers had finesse but the the three stooges, yuck, yuckier and yuckiest or stupid, stupider
and st upidest that my thoughts. I never liked them but my
family thought they were hilarious. Now chaplin was funny and he was very classy. the stooges are just gross and irritating to me. I
also detest those idiots.

I never thought anything they did was funny. I think my step brother may have gotten some of his ideas for his cruelty to me from the Stooges. Chapin was pretty cute and engenious in some of his ideas. The stooges were just down right DUMB.

I do not think that the 3 stooges were all that entertaining. Too stupid is too stupid. If you like slap stick humour then that would be something you would find enjoyable. To me the 3 stooges rank right there with Airplane and Scarry Movie 1 and 2. There is such a thing as being too stupid. This in fact is not funny but boarders complete stupidity and is in no way funny and is very annoying.

So true. Annoying for sure. It gets to a point for me where it is embarrasing that someone would act like that.

I've never been a fan of The Three Stooges. However, this remake looks worse than the originals.
I'm tired of Hollywood's remakes. The remakes are almost always inferior to the original. In the case of remakes of things that were mediocre to begin with, that means something that is just downright unwatchable.

I have a hard time watching a movie that has been adapted from a book. They always make big changes and really mess it up. Much less a remake. I am all for the original of anything. And The Stooges aren't original or memorable in any way that I can think of.

I have seen a couple of previews for the Three Stooges. I won't be going to the theater to watch it but I might check it out if it comes on cable...just to see. I think that the movie industry is desperate for new ideas. I saw where they are putting the Titanic back in the theaters just because they made it in 3-D.

Desperate is right! And the Titanic in 3-D seems weird and even alittle silly. What will they think of next?

I am not a Stooges fan, but I am quite curious about this movie. The Stooges where big when political politeness was some thing you could be not forced to be. There was no one standing there with the law suit stick ready to beat them down for money over every little honk, poke and comment. It will be interesting to see if they are even funny with out so much of the slap stick they depended on now being a taboo.
