Azarenka finally lost

She is not one of my favorite players but she had been on a winning streak this year of over 20 straight matches. At least she was stopped far short of the record held by one of my all time favorite players, Martina Hingis, who had 37 straight wins in 1997(I think that was the year) when she was quite young. I was a little surprised that it was Bartoli who beat her in Miami.

Its good that she finally lost. No doubt she is a great player, but she not one of my personal favourites either!! I too was shocked that she would lose to Bartoli, i would've expected that Sharapova would bring her down!
