Saying the truth sometimes is optional.

Were there moments in time that you had to tell a lie to make things easier for the other person , i mean have you ever lied to someone with only the intent of making sure that everything will be fine for the person you are sating it too, because sometimes i think I do, there are days that just really call out for just lying and trying to make them feel more positive patronizing them because you know this will be better and since you know they will not be here long enough to know the truth.

At times it becomes essential to lie, for example when some one (many do when they see me)they ask , Prof how are you, Sir how are you, my normal answer is, I am ok, thanks. It is certainly lie because i have health issues; but this i cant tell to all, always, if i tell any the talk becomes lenghty too. Have a nice day ahead. Professor ‘@Bhuwan@’. .

if your talking about someone asking do i look good in these pants and you tell them yes when you think they look aweful.. or getting a new hair cut and asking if it looks good or you like it , kinda puts you on the spot youn know almost everyone will say yes it looks fine everone except my hubby he will tell you the truth no matter what.. me i just try to be nice about it ..

Hi laken, Well saying the truth if it counts i guess but there are times that i think small lies can be done and yeah saying the truth in a more nicer manner is better than saying the truth like a rock that just fell.

Yes sometimes I do that asking if I'm fine but I'm truly not. I don't want them to feel sorry for me and they got worried at me. I can say the truth If I cannot handle the situation about me. But if I can I just lie to them saying I'm okay.

Hey lyn, Right I mean why tell something that you can handle on your own, at the moment it might be hard but in the long run you know you can take care of things your way so i agree with you on this one, thanks for the comment.

These are called white lies. These are lies that does make the situation worse. We need to tell white lies sometimes because saying the truth could bring more complications to the situation. Sometimes I would not tell my mom that I am sick because she might get really worried. hehehehe

Hi vincent, Yeah white lies is what we call it, lies that as you've mentioned lessens the gravity of things since it is needed to avoid creating more problems. Lying is bad it is really wrong but if you think about it you are the only one who is doing the wrong but benefits the others that will receive it. In a way.
