It's my baby's first Day at Summer Class

My daughter is turning 4 year old in June, and with the new K12 program that our Department of Education is promoting in the country, she's going to be in K1 instead of Nursery level. To be enrolled for the coming school year, they require pre-reading and writing skills. Since she hasn't gone to pre-school, she barely knows any of the above. To prepare her for the re-assessment, we enrolled her to a summer class for writing and she had her first day, yesterday. I was more excited than her, and I woke up at 5AM to start preparing for her class at 8AM. I'm just glad she liked it and can't wait for the next session.

I do hope she continues liking it as I know from my experience as a teacher that the only way people really learn is when they want to do it. WOW!!! You do rise early for classes! I am a nightbird so I can go to bed at 4 or 5 AM

Yeah, I do hope so, too. I remembered when I first went to school, I was a cry baby. I'm totally surprise with her enthusiasm and interest.

Partly it comes from having a good teacher, but it also helps when she is not worried about mom "leaving her" there forever.

And how does this relate to Watching Television?
