For those who are newly graduates who are trying to score the job; this one's for you. There are many people who wants to score their dream job and most of them eventually either being discourage to pursue it due to lack of self confidence. For instance; they're not pretty sure what to say during the "tell me about yourself" part in which it should be essential to know. They're either not sure on how to flaunt their words to express their thoughts or how to make a formal conversation with the interviewer. Art of speaking should be improved at this point. If you're seeing these opportunities to improve it; you shoud do the following steps: 1. Try to practice more with a friend or a stranger. Building rapport is important. It will reflect your personality during the interview on how you handle other people's objections and how you react on it. 2. Watching a lot of movies helps. I've noticed some movie goers which are good conversationist. They tend to have a more creative mind to express themselves in a way movies are also express on the big screen. They have more expressive thoughts in which eventually help them in constructing words first before they speak. Usually; it is also asked during interviews; on how do you find a certain movie enjoyable or explaining the plot of it and moral lessons. So elementary but true. If you can't get a sentence working on how to explain it; the greater chance you stutter 3. Conjuctive thoughts will help you a lot. (I forgot it's exact term but you can check it also online) It is a mind exercise in which it correlates all things in the room using words and justifies how they link to each other. Oh there you go; Correlative thoughts. Search it online for more info regarding this exercise. Example: table, ceiling and shoes. Here's how you play with it: "For the table; it is made of wood and ceiling can be made of wood. Wood is brown and comes different colors. Shoes can be color brown or black as well." You have constructed a series of thoughts for random items in a room or in places that you'll see. You should try it for three to five times and check your thoughts as you handle conversations under pressure. Critical thinking for it develops and this will also boosts your confidence. Try these steps and share your thoughts and comments about it or please do share more of your best practices here. Thanks and happy mylotting!
