Are duplicate discussions being hidden from me?

So I made a discussion in the questions and answers portion of this site as I normally do. My first responder asked me why I had the discussion in both questions and answers and in the mylot categories. Uhm, well because I don't? So I am not sure what they mean, unless mylot's hiding duplicate discussions? I didn't make it in this category so not sure what is going on. Anyway this is just an example of where we get lost in translation. It's great people come to this site and it helps them brush up on their english, and us native english speakers to do the same, but woo when we get lost in translation... Can anyone maybe guess as to what that person meant? I sure enough don't know.

Maybe you should ask that user what they are smoking and if you want to see duplicate topics too, get them to share

There are so many posts on Mylot that you can't help but have the same subject from time to time. They probably thought they saw the same Mylotter doing the same topic. And maybe English isn't their first language. I would give them a break and move on. Mistakes do happen.

I'm not really harping on them, but no they meant that I had posted the exact same discussion in another interest. Above they pop up and explain their own mistake.
