Competition and competitiveness

What we decide to do - no matter what it is - should be motivated by a desire to own one's own need for a voice within us and not what is out. Being competitive is not to prove any price that you know to do something better than someone else. And even if you succeed, that does not mean that anyone else knows something else to do better than you. Being competitive means doing things I think how well can you, in your way, of course, you trying to overcome your limitations, yours, not others. And to recognize the situation than you. Perhaps, being competitive means you can adapt to change, to have the capacity to absorb new things, meet the waves of life. But the same idea, competitiveness do not think it means to be aware of all directions, which goes all to keep step with the evolution the all the technology that seems to not have limits( even the other day wearing a discussion with someone who looked very disappointed that I do not care how TVs have evolved recently and do not know anything about LED, Plasma, LCD, etc.., as if that would mean that .. I was in behind!?) You, what do you say? Competition is what gives you the impulse you limited in a certain direction? How important is competition in your life? Competitiveness related to the existence of self-confidence or is just evidence that there is an inferiority complex that forces you to a continuing struggle with others?

Being competitive can be a good thing but it can also rather tend to make us obsessive with accomplishing something. To the point that it derails pretty much every single aspect of the lives that we lived. There are times where people have to be the best, the biggest, the smartest, the most appeasing, and just have it all but really, is that what you want? I think that people get caught right into the hype. Nothing wrong with a little healthy competition but it is the unhealthy competition, the type that derails every single about our lives, that works. I think that we got to step back and worry about what we are doing, rather then worrying about what we can do to beat the others around us.

Competition, i think, is a healthy thing to provide determination to reach a certain goal or sometimes to gauge or evaluate one's self in terms of what he is made of be it physically or intellectually. It is sort of a driving force to put yourself to reach the ultimate goal of being the best.

If you want to succeed in life, you have to go through a lot of competitions. And to be able to go through it you should have competitiveness within yourself. It is the quality that you have to compete with others.

As long as you have the eyes to see healthy and stay healthy in this tough world of competition, there is nothing wrong and I am sure the competition will bring out its best of you. but the problems start when you start to take things to a level where unhealthiness creeps in destroying the positivity of this competition. competition is always between what you are and what you actually want to be or do. As long as you keep it healthy, you find peace even when you do not win... and when you are not keeping it healthy, you find there is no peace even if you win all the times.

I think competition is one of the things which makes us move forward in our lives and try to keep up the pace with the rapidly changing society. If we talk about an external competition,a fight against other competitors to succeed in life or at least to avoid being destroyed by it,I'm afraid it's something we can't avoid and run away from,we simply have to face it and this sort of competition can give us a competitive spirit, but it can also ruin our lives. There is also the inner competition which springs from the desire to push our limits and try to do things better;it's a struggle against ourselves which eventually leads to competitiveness:the more we like the competition, the more competitive we'll become, and the competitions with ourselves are much more exciting because they come from our inner self and not from an external source,in this case we choose when and how to compete.Anyway, one thing is certain:there can't be a social life without competition nowadays.
