Anyone who can share their best practices in how they keep their memorabillas? Or your souvenirs from the past?
I'm thinking of putting them in one scrapbook. Before I'm keeping it but eventually it gets bulkier and collects dust and smell. It's four years old to be exact.
How can you preserve your scrapbooks or memorabillas for years? Can you share your best practices? Please and thanks!

Depends on what you are considering "memorabilla". Paper stuff...scrapbooking is best..using page protectors. I have put things like sea shells and bottle caps in a scrapbook on a layout. I have used hay (from the event of the layout) on a layout, and even the baby bracelet from my grand daughter on a scrapbook layout page.
The bulkier items...depends on what it is. You can get "shadow boxes" at the local craft store...looks like a picture frame, but is about 2-3 inches deep so you can put 3-D items in there and still hang it on the wall like a picture.
Some things, maybe just use them. I collect fridg magnets from places I have been and they are on the fridge, but I use them for memos and such.
Or make a display of things on the coffee table. Maybe get a large flat bowl and fill with related items to "show" you memories. Check out Martha Stewart's online page...marthastewart.com I thihnk...she often has categories for things like this! Good luck!
