Hi Ram, I wonder why Piyush Chawla, an International player bowled like that. Could not he change the line and length of his bowling so that ht were not hammered like anything. I say Chawla is the culprit of the loss of the RR to MI. I never thought that Mumbai Indians would be able to make it to a win and my moral sopport was for Rajasthan Royals. History repeats. Pune Warriors lost a match with Ashish Nehra in the last over to RCB the other day. The same thing happened today . If Piyush Chawla had not bowled that over and not conceded that much run RR would surely win the game.

Absolutely amazing batting by him, and a useful cameo by Peterson ensured win for MI, against a King's XI team that played very well indeed, until the last 3 overs. The last 2 sixes of Piyush Chawla really changed it in Mi's favour!

Requiring 32 from last 2 overs, Mumbai Indians' victory looked most improbable although Sharma and Rayadu had brought them to a striking distance of the victory but 27 runs of the penultimate over, helped by 2 fours and a six of the first three balls by Petersen and a six by Rayadu of the last ball, made it all easy for M.I.. Penultimate over of the match is the most important one and should be entrusted to a reliable bowler. I feel Piyush Chawla is not the Ideal bowler for that over. I think this season in I.P.L. batsmen have overpowered the bowlers and snatched some extraordinary wins from the jaws of defeat. T20 is therefore so very popular with the masses.

Peterson scored 15 runs off four balls in the 19th over and Ambati Rayudu smacked two sixes to cost Kings XI 27 runs. Punjab posted thier highest total this season with Hussey and Miller score at blast to score 168/3 on the tabel. KXIP score 88 runs off the last seven overs of their innings. Hussey shows a great character to pose punjab to a great score to defend for. Poor bowling from Munaf as well as harbhazan while franklin did well in the middele. It was great game no doubt! Bowlers are getting trashed as did in other matches how will bowlers going to defend a total that is a big question?????
