Which one do you prefer and why? Movies have been around forever, and they are certainly evolving, with new techniques being introduced along with the new technology. Video games on the other hand have become an industry monster. I, myself, even though I enjoy films on a frequent basis, prefer video games over movies. If you think about it, a good video game (especially adventures and rpg's) are something like an interactive movie. Most of them are built around very solid scenario. The have acting in the form of animation and voice acting. Original soundtrack that a lot of times is far superior to those of several movies and finally can be really innovative. Even though i must admit there are many innovative films out there, a video game developer's fantasy is able to create a lot more than simple stories.

i am more into movies.i enjoy playing video games sometimes but i prefer to realax in front of a good movie.it is true that a video game can involve more fantasy and adrenalin, but i believe the movies will manage somehow to evolve and keep up with the games industry.

I myself watch many movies as well. It's just a matter of what each person prefers. Probably it is a fact, that good video games would never exist if good movies wouldn't exist. I prefer horror movies above all. As with most video games I have more fun in the horror genre. A plsu about movies now that I think of it, is that they come in a greater number, so you can always watch something when there is not video game to please your current needs. :)

Video Game single-players are way better than movies. If anyone has played Assassin's Creed, Gears of War, and Mass Effect you know how good a story can get. You get to interact with the story and sometimes make it how you want it like in Mass Effect. If you ever get the chance, play Assassin's Creed 2. It has one of the best stories in any game I have ever seen and the soundtrack is one of the best I have seen in movies and video games!

Well said! I'm pretty much a video game nerd, so I am already aware of the titles you mentioned. :) Today I finished the Witcher 2 - Enhanced edition. I think it is one of the best games as regards everything, graphics, story, soundtrack. the game's evolution depends so greatly at your choices that i'm about to start a second playthrough soon. :)

Well there are some things that can't be applied on the movies since it can't be feasible or it is impossible to implement. Heck Video games has a good story lines nowadays and has a decent game play too. So I prefer Video games since it is fun and the stories are pretty wicked.

I agree with you on that. Especially lately, that I am unemployed, had the chance to play a lot of great video games, that give me a more pleasant experience than watching a movie, or even reading a book. Especially in the recent years, I can't recall as many good movies, as the number of really awesome video games that get published!
