Previously on "Wrong send" segments. I had an email being send so wrong to a different company and I wasn't able to coorect or undo the sending but to send 3 times about it to cover it up and such.
This time; too stupid for another wrong sent item. This time; it is about chat messages. I was being ask for a certain package. I did research about the information of the hotel, amenities and such. But I was also chatting with another customer as this is required for us to do since we need to utilize our time in chatting.
Next thing happened, The first guy logged of. I was sad; it was a potential sale. but I got totally remorsed about my stupidity when the other customer replied; "I'm booking at California. Why are you sending me in Texas?"
Well, you pretty much know about the end. No sale from both of them. Knowledge is also important when selling. And it was so wrong to offer packages to the wrong person.
How many of you sent a wrong chat message? And can you tell me what happened?

That is why it is better to focus your attention on one sale at a time so there are no mix ups. People are willing to fogive once for an email mixup, but when you have to send 3 other emails on top of it to cover it you might as well forget that sale. I have done this one time texting, and decided to make sure I always review the address of the person it is going to before I hit that 'send' button.
