How do you know you're compatible?

After you met your significant other, when did you know that you were compatible? What were some of the things he/she did to make you feel that things may work out? Did they like the same music? Or save you from a burning building? When and how do you know that you are on the same page with someone in the terms of relationships? And if you ended up breaking up with that person... how did you find out you were totally wrong?

It is really difficult to know we are compatible, especially in the beginning of meeting. As my friend case, she met that guy, both of them seem so compatible in everything. However, just a small thing happens, that guy could leave her immediately. Then sure in this case, they are not compatible at all. Relationship is not complicated i think, just we, people make it become complicated only.
As my case, i am simple person, but my boyfriend is a very detail person. He always go to in detail for everything, while i am not. Well, i feel headache again when thinking of my relationship.

Personally I think you really never know 100% until after you take the challenge when you feel it is time and get married. Many times even when their are things that are different they can all work out because you learn to work things out, and enjoy the different things about one another. Also I feel Prayer is one of the number one assets and letting God lead you if this is the right person to be with. Too many times people tend to rush things, and making sure before hand and taking things slow is always the Best way to go.

I actually figured out that my husband and I were compatible before we even met in person. You see, he and I met on the internet a little bit over ten years ago. After we had spent some time talking on the computer we started talking to each other on the phone and it was during our first marathon telephone conversation that he did something that no other man that I had ever dated had done. That was the fact that he was totally honest about his past. His honesty was the thing that made me know that the two of us were compatible.

You don't. You just decide at a certain point for a certain reason to go for it. To some of us it's important to have things in common, others like the opposite, there is no quarantee it will work.

Me and my husband well we are compatible in most things I guess you can say. How did I know things would work out. When we would disagree about things and we both felt bad about them. We don't always see eye to on on things but there are a lot of things we like. Like we both love music, a lot of the same movies or willing to watch things because we love each other. We just really get along well with each other. People say we are like two old married couple that have been together for years. Well more like we have been together for 3 years but still it seems like forever.

No that isn't the only thing we agree on. Like I said we don't always see eye to eye that doesn't mean we don't agree on things. Some things we fully agree on to the same degree and others there is zero. When it comes to our kids we agree completely with each other. When it comes to religion and beliefs we differ but that doesn't bother us. I feel that two people in love should agree on everything there should be some comforting to some degree in a healthy way. We have a healthy relationship but we aren't a 100% completely the same. We both like music maybe not the same kind as each other. But we love listening to it, singing it, he can play and I can sing. He likes to cook and I like to bake. We like a lot of the same movies. Like I said we do fight but it's not that often most of the time when we fight it's because we are both tired, and irritated about other things that we don't feel like sharing at that moment but it all comes out.
