This Russian made Superjet 100 airline crashed carrying about 47 passengers. The plan was on its second demo flight. When it was flying over Mount Salak the plane lost contact and the nearby signal recievers could not detect the plane.
Today, SAR team finally identified a spot supposed to be a wreckage of Sukhoi Superjet 100 with 47 passengers on board. And in the afternoon SAR was able to approach the location of the wreckage but still can't recover the victim to bad weather.
Hopefully, tomorrow the evacuation will be finished and all victims will be transferred to a hospital in East Jakarta. Let's wait for further news here.

maximax8, I think you know the conditions in Indonesia as you have said you have travelled in Indonesia. Mount Salak is supposed to be mysterious as actually it has unstable weather up there.
