Selling Things at Work

I'm a proud entepreneur at work. Even where I work I tend to sell some stuff that I usually create. Since I have started "Kiao-kiao" accesories when I was in high school, it has been a bread and butter fo me even if I'm dead broke. I sell accesories online and most of the time I'm sharing my works in the office and some of my girl officemates and batchmates during trainings loves it. At times I tend to check first the environment of the people who're working in a company before selling; if they're up to fashion, if they have the budget for higher-marked price or if I should show the cheap ones. For instance, I try to check them for 2-3 weeks before sharing or showing them my creations then eventually if they love it, they would ask if there's new. It happened to me in my second work right now as a franchise consultant. Share me more what are you selling in the office or do you know someone who is also selling on sites and why are they doing it. If you're going to ask me; it will never hurt selling for making more money to tide away everyday expenses ^_^-) Enjoy sharing your thoughts here in mylot about this topic!

Hi Res! Would you believe that i used to sell calamansi and bananas as well in the office??? Hahahah! We have a farm down south and whatever produce there, i sell in the office. I also sell my sister's jewelries. I like selling such that i am investing on putting up a business for unusual clothes up to 5XL, unusual backpacks and music books. As my stuff are all imported, i had to get myself accredited for importation under Bureau of Imports and Customs. Apart from that, i also need to get a license under the National Book Development Bureau to sell imported books. Many times, i have thought... whats the point of being legit, when you can earn higher and charge cheaper to compete in the market? If i go legit, i would have to charge 12% higher for taxes to be surrendered to BIR. Its just that i cant keep on hiding forever and take the risk of my imported stuff to be sequestered by customs. If one wants to be successful, one has to do things the right way. I even have to take a short course on Basic Tax & Accounting for enterpreneurs. hayyyyy.

Huwaaaaw! Now that's nifty ^___^-) Love it; that's something that is also profitable and edible. If you have to transport it to the public market it will be very hassle. I know someone who is selling hamburgers, home-made apple pie and candies but not fruits. I just had a great idea with you; I'll try to have it grow some crops in my backyard. Seriously; I appreciate your feedback and thanks for sharing your experience. Have a good day ahead ^___^-)
