People never learn. Joseph Estrada was convicted of plunder and was on trial for perjury... How can eople still elect him... just because he gives them money people are still on his side. I hope he doesn't win sinc ehe might steal money again from the people.. He can barely walk yet he stil thirsts for power.

It's everywhere the same.. you can buy people with money or (empty) promises. If it comes to elections it's never honest only right after people start complaining. I think they like to be fooled or to complain.

Yes, many used politics as their cover to enrich themselves and gain power. And some people let themselves to be used by these traditional politicians. It's all for money in exchange for their right to vote. Yes, people keep on complaining but still they keep on electing these corrupt politicians. When will they learn to accept that it's them who accepts money, are to blame.

Yes, I do agree but I think most of them is for the monetary benefits he gave to them. We can't deny the fact that he is very popular, especially during his movie years but I think he should let the new breed of politicians do their thing. And as you have, being old and having the experienced, he could help these new breed by being their adviser.

Yes, your right. Most of the time law is really unfair especially to those who have no money to pay for good lawyers and others if you know what I mean.
If I remember it right, the guy serves his sentence for a while and was given pardon by the president but was asked to promise that he will not run for any position in the government again and he agreed. But under the new administration he said that he was asked by the people to run again, so he plans to try it again but now in a much lower position.
