once again chelsea play in final of champions league
of course lampard et al, is not patient play in final...
but they must forgot their bad memmories about final of champions league
they were lost from MU in pinalty drama in moscow 2008..
the situation is not good for chelsea because they lost 4 of important player...2 in defender position and 2 in midfielder area..
john terry and ivanovic must watch their friend play in field..
Ramirez and meireless become the spectators.
actually bayern is not good performance too..their lost from dortmund in germany cup is not good morale for them..
but they had another passion for saving their season..
champions league trophy is their chance of their winner this season
note too that the game was played in allianz arena, their home base..
so can chelsea win at the first time in champions league??
what about your prediction??

Yes. Chelsea can win the Champions League final tonight. Playing German opponent in Munich is not that difficult for an English team. England won 5-1 when they played Germany at Munich on 1 September 2001. What will happen on 19 May 2012? Ask Ashley Cole, the Chelsea left back who played in that 2001 match. He will tell you, "no problem mate, we will handle Bayern Munich like we did Barcelona. In fact it would be easier as they ain't even half good compared to the Catalans".

I am a Manchester United fan. Both teams are more or less balanced in their strength and Bayern Munich definitely starts as the favorite with their home ground advantage. But Drogba, Torres and Lampard are all capable of winning it for Chelsea. Hit them on the counter I think will be the Chelsea game plan.

Yes, it would bring all those memories, none more dramatic than John Terry slipping while taking the penalty that would have given them the Champions League. Also, I think for superstars such as Drogba, Lampard etc. this is the last chance for them to win the biggest cup of them all. But I think they might just come up short against Bayern at the Allianz arena.
Cheers!

Drogba again showed that he is awesome in finals for Chelsea. He has scored in 4 FA Cup finals and now in the Champions League final. Four years back when they lost in the final, he was sent off and that was the reason why John Terry had to take that fateful penalty kick.
Cheers!

Game is over and the matched has been played. Obviously, Bayern should win because of home advantage but that can be their meltdown as well as it brings them additional pressure to play well, especially this is the last trophy available and they have everything to play for. Where chelsea is concerned, their only stake is the spot to next season's champions league, other than that, they have nothing to fear about. Putting the two teams together, the one with lesser pressure tend ot pull it off better and i won't be surprised if chelsea walks away with the trophy. After all, there's no heat on them this year.
