It's time for Phillip to get that surgery now.

I agree and I think that is where he is right now, in surgery. He will need 4-6 weeks of recooperating, I have no idea how he will even rehearse for the tour coming up. This is gonna be crazy for him. I'm happy he won and all but still worried about him on the tour somewhat. I like the song he did with John Fogerty. He sang in a normal tone, not that over the top PP sound that I don't care for, him going overboard with it. He made me cry at the end, he was so emotional and happy. Possible even in pain, LOL. But I think he should get it all over with and really think about himself now that his health is at stake and his career ahead.

I loved the first song that he did with John Fogerty because I am a real folk fan and love that kind of music. Nevertheless, I was rooting for Jessica to win but I knew that Phillip was going to take the title. I wish all the season's finalists the best of luck. The finale was a great show!

Now I believe that winning American Idol was GOD'S gift to Phillip so he can have financial assistance for his Kidney problem. Poor Phillip I didn't know about he's condition and yet it doesn't show in his performance. Congrats to him, I have a feeling that he's gonna won the title at the start, I also thought of Colton & Jessica but not Joshua. He sings from the heart and he enjoys performing and not pretending. That makes him a winner.

I remember he had to go to the hospital a few weeks ago. I'm surprised he won. He is very good but if he is gonna be sickly maybe Jessica should have won. I think she put more into her performances. I lived both if them so I'm glad that he won. But I kind of think Jessica should have won.

So the trend continues for the fifth time of the guitar strumming male Idol winners. However, Jessica should not worry because those who do not win the Idol crown gets to have the better opportunities. The show is over and congratulations to the winner, Philip Philips.

dear LK, Jesse remains the winner of course. I admire Philip for being professional. I can still remember how he managed to show during their practice with Jim just days after his surgery. Wish him all the luck for his next surgery.

I didn't know PP has some problems with his kidney. Well, I'm sorry to hear that. He should rest and let Jessica take his place for sometime.. I'm so mean, no really, I wanted him to rest. He is a good singer, no doubt about it, and he should take care of his health so we could get to see him more just like we are seeing Jessica more often now. Let's just hope his condition gets better before their tour starts.

Yeah, I really think that he needs to really take that surgery as soon as possible. Now that he won, he really needs to have his kidney fixed. But, they said that his surgery might actually require him to take lots of rest for 6 months or so. I'm just not sure how AI will be able to have their summer tour without Philip if that ever happens. But, hopefully, his recovery would be fast if he goes under surgery and gets on album right away. Looking forward to his album, and yeah, Jessica too.

Yeah, let's give it to him. He needs the prize, and, well he's got enough talent to score a good fanbase. I heard Jessica is looking forward to a good break from a famous producer, so let's wish her all the best. I do hope her talent doesn't go to waste. She can always come back to the Philippines, and she'll surely be the #1 star around here, just like the rest of the talents who won in other international contests.
