Dishomat Idea

I'm tired of washing the dishes twice a day. Ugh.
I wonder if the idea of a dishomat would work. Rows and rows of coin operated dishwashers. Bring your dirty dishes in, wash, dry and stack. Then take them home and put them away, lol. (Just like a laundromat with your clothes). Would you use such a place of business?

Where I live, we have several laundrymats and they do quite well. Why? because so many do not have their own washer and dryers. Now a dishomat...well, I don't see that being a great idea. Everyone pretty much has a sink and running water. Maybe in a campground it might work but it would not be a big moneymaker for sure. On a daily basis...too much work. It'd be easier just to do the dishes at home rather than to load them into boxes and lug them to the car and then to the dishomat. The money spent on gas as well as to use the machines combined with all the time and work to do it....hmmm...I think I am almost loving washing dishes just thinking about it.

I have to agree with sid here. I don't like washing dishes because it seems to be a never ending job. But, I'd rather wash them by hand than go through all the work of bringing them to another location then bringing them all back home again.
It's also very rare that I have enough dishes at one time to fill a dishwasher so it would be economically infeasible. People just don't want to have dirty dishes sitting there while they're accumulating enough to warrant a trip to a dishwasher at another location.
