My husband is fond of wearing a cap. It is has become an accessory to him, because he said it hides his grey hair whenever he hasn’t have his hair dyed at the salon. In addition, it seems to make him young looking. How about you guys?

I like and used to wear caps too.I do have few caps at home.I usually wear caps if I don't want to style my hair when going out.

So the cap is for you to hide an un-styled hair while my husband is to hide his grey hairs. He used to have an alopecia orata and hide them by his cap. But now the alopecia is okay already.

Once a month or twice i think, he is being injected on the head with a medicine by the dermatologist. Also he stopped having to travel almost every other day causing him to lack sleep , since he cannot fully sleep in the bus that travels from 6:30 pm. to 6:00 am, then that same day would travel back to the province 6:30 pm to 6:00 am the next day. Another employee replaced him, while he took another assignment.

Yes, my father usually wears a cap too- since it not only protects him from the heat of the sun, guys normally don't bring umbrellas. And it also hides grey hairs. Double purpose..

Yeah, they don't really like umbrellas.. But some of my guy friends have umbrellas, like 1 out of 20. And my friends and i would even find it cute when two guys share an umbrella when it's raining.

Yes, why are men like that. My husband would prefer wearing a cap rather than open the umbrella when it is just drizzling. Maybe they feel like a lame duck sporting an umbrella when it's just drizzling.

My youngest son is really fond of wearing cap. He just bought one last week. He likes to collect caps, maybe his hobby :)

Yes Jsiho, teeners are really fond of wearing caps. It's their trademark of youth. So maybe that's why even the olds would also like to wear one always. As they say it hides their greys but at the back of their mind , they would like to feel young once again. Yes, it could really be a nice collection.

Although I wouldn't necessarily admit that I am balding (because I am not!), and that I have lots of grey hair, I do have lots of caps. I've grown into the habit of buying a cap at special places that I go to, and buying caps for things that I really like (sports teams that I follow). Unfortunately, I don't get to wear them at work. It's only the weekends that I get to wear them. Summer is coming so I'm sure I'll be wearing most of them again soon.

Just like you bounce, i also wear caps once in a while. Specially when i am out in the beach just frolicking by the seaside. That's the main purpose i guess of wearing caps. It's just that in the course of wearing it, others found other purposes such as what i mentioned in my topic.

My husband shaves his head and wearing a cap was what made me attracted to him in our younger days. Not that we're old already! But nowadays he's not wearing them anymore because he told me it's hot and uncomfortable. I still prefer to see him wearing a baseball cap though.

So does it mean Toni that even in his younger days he is already sporting a skinhead? How nice that his wearing a cap made you fall for him. Yes, indeed a cap adds to the look of a man , making him seemingly handsome (if he is not that handsome ) Hot as it is, the cap to some serves as an accessory to some men. Do you agree that a cap makes a man younger looking or bagets? Not, when you see his eyebags.

Yes, airkulet, i do wear cap also sometimes when i want to hide my identity because i have not made myself up before going out. In addition i would wear shades if it is sunny.

Yes, primarily its for those reasons. But then sometimes, it's pampapogi. Don't you think so? Actually, when my husband is in a cap, he looks bagets and pogi.

Hi SimplyD I love my hair open and free. That is why I feel uncomfortable when I am forced to wear helmet during driving bike - sometimes I feel happy that I dont drive anymore because of my arthritis. I had this hat think sometime when I was a kid, I even have a few photos on my mom's album which show me wearing hats. Mom uses them to tease me at times but then, I know, today I cannot feel comfy in them.

Yes, i think it is hot on the head to be wearing a hat at all times, sids. So that explains your not wanting to wear it anymore. I even blamed the cap for my husband having an alopecia orata before. I told him it might be the heat of wearing the cap at all times that contributed to it. But thank God that it's now gone. It was treated by a dermatologist. But then, with his alopecia gone he is back to using it even when he is at a public transport already. It's understandable when we are walking outside, because it's hot. Though, he said secondly, it is to hide his grey hairs.

A habit of mine too which my wife always reminds me if in case I forgot my baseball cap when going out. It's my protection against the heat of the sun. Like your husband it serves to hide my grey hair too but not like him when it's not dyed. I'm allergic to hair color so I just used the cap instead to partly cover my grey hair.

I wear one most times as it's easy to throw one on. They also help in keeping the sun off your head.

Basically, the purpose of the cap is that one my friend , keepi the sun off our heads. But nowadays, it has become an accessory to some and a hiding place for the greys and the un-styled hairs of men.
