Let's go back in time to high school. When life was filed on your permanent record. If you could go back to your high school and do everything all over again, but could only change one thing what would you change? why?

At first I thought that I would say that I wouldn't change a thing because High School was a blast for me, but when I took a little more time to mull it over, I realized that I was too easily embarrassed about things and let other people's opinions affect how I felt about myself back then. So I would change that, if I could. However, I think being easily "mortified" by stuff is just really part of being a teen and I think it's a learned skill to handle those situations well. I'm not sure that I COULD change that, without actually having had to live through that stage in my life. How about you?

And I kind of think that everyone was really a mess underneath. All hormones and insecurities. Some kids were just better at hiding it than others! :)

Very true. If you hadn't have been in the situations you were in that made you react the way you did then you would never know how ridiculous it was to act that way. I use to think about stuff like that. I wondered why I let people get to me, why I was so uptight. I wished that I could go back the way I am today. More calm and cool, and just be like eh whatever. Because the other kids seemed so calm and cool, but then when I think back we had different situations. Maybe if I were in their shoes I would have been more easy going, and if they were in my shoes they would be the ones worrying about such trivial things.

I will never change a thing! All my mistakes in the past made me who I am today.. And as far as high school goes, everything went well and a lot of great things happened!

Let me be the first to say congrats on your perfect high school life. So you wouldn't change anything about your own personal past, but what about changing something for someone else?

I wouldn't say it was perfect though! Anyway, I can't decide for that someone's life so its up to that someone if he/she wants to change anything..

I think if I had the chance to go back to my younger days, the one thing that I would definitely change would be the way that I think about food. I spent my whole teenage years being bullied because I was overweight, and this is something that I have always wished that I could go back and do again. I know that I would have been a lot happier if I wasn't fat, because people wouldn't have had anything that they could tease me for. I have lost a lot of weight in recent months, and now that I know that I am able to lose weight it has just made me think even more than perhaps I could have done a lot better than I did when I was at school, and then I wouldn't have had to go through all these years of coping with bullies who clearly had nothing better to do with their lives than make people feel bad.

It would be nice to do it just for your self confidence and your health, but teasing, eh..they would just find something else to tease you for. I was teased and beat up in school for being poor. It's good that your losing weight now. Be careful. Don't go all anorexic on us.

lol. Nice. I would change them all. My high school had a principle, 2 assistant principles, and then 2 I guess assistant assistant principles.

High school? hmmm...not so much memories but I think it's better not to change anything from there. Past is past and we don't have the ability to change it now. Past has its form of making us who we are and what we are doing now can change our future.

So you're happy with who you are? You're happy with the things that you have done?
