Be smart when you propose to your girlfriend

Today I read a news but it is more like a joke. An Italian man planned to propose to his girlfriend. He buried the wedding ring in the sand of the beach. However, he forgot the location after that. He spent quite a long time but he couldn't find the wedding ring yet The good news that his girlfriend still married to him at last

eeeek! that's both sad and hilarious and you are right, it is good news that she married him after all! i often cringe when i see these kinds of scenarios on movies and the man hides the ring in someones food or drink or does some other kind of nonsense with it...it is just better to be simple i think in that sort of instance, and not risk losing the ring, your fiance, or making people sick by swallowing rings, etc...the moment is special enough, why spoil it with all that hoopla and brouhaha?

I read about this as well, youless. I can't believe he forgot where he buried it!! How upset he must have been. Finally, right after hiring the someone to look for it with a metal detector, they found it! Yay! Oncet, I hid a gift for my children and I couldn't remember where I hid it. I found it after one year!

I think it is possible. Perhaps a wave can make this ring to the water already.

Such a waste actually~ He should remember or at least mark the place first before buried the ring. If the girlfriend know about it she would probably will find it along with him~(^^)

I guessed his girlfriend already tried to find the ring in the sand with him, but they failed.

Perhaps she married him when she know his sincerity and of course the ring case.(^^)

LOL. I read about the news yesterday. Indeed, the guy is lucky. At least, he still gets his wife. As far as i know, a wedding ring generally costs a man as much as his three months'salary. Previously, I was shocked by the price of propsing to a girl. Then I was told the secret about it and couldn't help admiring westerners'wisdom. It turns out that an expensive ring can make guys think twice before taking action. So most guys have already made sure that she was the one when proposing to a girl. Interesting, huh?

I have not read it.How ridiculous the guy was! I simply can't conceive why he would do so. however, come to think of it,I feel there was a catch in it somewhere.Maybe the guy hadn't buried the wedding ring at all,he pretended to do it so as to probe for his girlfriend's sincerity.
