Okay, so I have tried searching previous discussions here and other online sites and blogs that might help me find a good gift on our coming 6th anniversary with my bf. I found a few gift ideas from engraved pen- doesn't use it in his line of work, from wrist watches- too expensive, scrapbook - already have it, picture frame of us together- he has it hanging in his cabinet, love notes - gave him plenty already, sports thingy that he likes - he has recently bought it, to plants - which I am not sure what would live there where he is now I am so stressed as the days fly so fast. For those who doesn't know, I am in a long distance relationship, so this is a bit really hard for me. My bf is in another country, plane tickets are super crazy expensive and I don't think I could get a visa soon. So, I can't surprise him. I am really going crazy on what do to or what to give him. We always celebrate our monthsary and other special occasions online and i wanted our 6th anniversary to be something different. So please, pretty please, if you have any ideas, I will be taking notes of that and see what I can do to make it possible. I supper need your help guys, any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

do not put too much pressure on yourself for a gift for your loved one. for guys, what they really care is your time and effort to show them that you are there for them. guys are not really into gifts. they prefer intangible gifts such as memories together and stories. what you may be doing is unnecessary worries on things that may not really be of concern to your boyfriend. i may be wrong in this.

You may be right. I have given him so many things in the past already and I can really tell that he only gets to appreciate it on the day I gave the item to him. But, after awhile, he just forgets about it. I am not sad though, at least he keeps them. I'm thinking maybe we can have another movie date online with dinner or something like that, but he might find it weird

Hi gaiza, did your boyfriend enjoy nature life? Even if he's not. you could still buy him a sleeping tent or something about camping necessities. Maybe a beach tent if he likes beach more, or a hammock. Don't be stress out, you'll come up with some ideas later. Anyway, good luck in finding him a special gift .

He's not into camping nor does he like going to the beach. The beach is far from where he is staying now. But, yes, maybe he would someday need the tent or we could use it when he comes home. That's even more useful and worth remembering. Thanks for your idea

Finding good gifts is really hard. I cant remember anything I bought my husband besides a hoody other then that I just dont rememeber. My parents are the hardest people to buy for they have everything and they never use anything you get them so they usually wind up returning it. They have old worn out towels and I bought them all new ones and they returned them to the store. Same thing with a turkey roaster and socks and everything lol. Today was my sisters baby shower and I got her some baby clothes and a bumbo seat.

Yeah, I was thinking that but I can't find a good site where I can order it and have it personalized. It's more fast if I buy it online than buy it here and have it shipped. It may take a few days before it reaches him. Anyway, thanks for the advice. I'm considering it

Hi gaiza, don't stress yourself I know you will figure out what will be the best gift for your bf. By the way, why don't you do something that you personally made and add some extra effort on it to make a difference? All of the above you mentioned can be bought anywhere but if you made it personally I know he will cherish it and appreciate your effort. Good luck

I have made a personalized scrapbook already, made a personalized picture frame of us with collage pictures of us together and also personalized quotes and favorite lines of us from movies wrote it on small pieces of paper which he can pick one everyday. The picture frame is just hanging in his cabinet and the quotes are in his table and I'm sot sure if even reads it. I'm also thinking of a personalized mug but I know he has many mugs there already. A personalized tshirt could be, but he mentioned to me one time that he doesn't like those stuff. He's not choosy, but there are just somethings that he doesn't appreciate much. sigh*

I mentioned this on another post, but I think a compass, a nice one, and a note wishing him to always know his course, always find his way would be cool. I got a gift like this once, but I ended up having things in storage broken into and never saw it again. I moved at the wrong time, but I loved that gift.

My bf already has a compass. He enjoys biking and is not really familiar with the place yet so he really does need a compass. I'm not sure if he would need an extra though. But, I'll note that down. At least I have lots of ideas in mind before I actually decide. Thanks for your great idea
