I'm 30 weeks pregnant, and I am soooo excited to meet my baby girl, but I'm so nervous. I heard so many stories about stillborns and there is nothing you can do to prevent it from happening. I know it's not good to think about negative stuff like that but just the fact that it could happen even if you do everything right scares the living hell out of me :-(

Congratulations on your pregnancy.
Is this your first baby? I can understand how excited you are. I am 37 week pregnant now and this is my second baby, I can't wait to meet my baby girl too.
You are right, it's really not good to think negatively. During my first pregnancy, I had some worries when I didn't feel well, my husband kept reminding me to think positive and not to worry. I know it might be hard, but I kept telling myself I have to do so, as it's good for my baby. When I think of the goodness for my baby, I feel like I have the power to do so. Talk to your baby always, and you can also share your worries with her, but also tell her you'll be brave and wait to see her, etc. I just kept talking to myself or my baby when I was worried, and got ready to meet my baby.
Enjoy your labor too, it's really a great experience for mother! ^_^

No there is nothing you can do. You can get focused on all these stories about pregnancies or births going wrong and get crazy or be realistic and enjoy your pregnancy and tell yourself there is not an overpopulation in this world because of all those pregnanciec that went wrong and everything bad happened at the birth. So it's your own choice how you look upon it and deal with it.
