I cannot help feeling excited at the launching of Shenzhou-9 which will take place tomorrow at 18:37hrs (GMT+8) which will be 6.37a.m. ET in a satellite facility located in the northwestern Gansu province, China. Everything seems to be happening so fast and before I notice anything more than 10 years had passed since the first launch. Now, my country is launching the 9th rocket into space and what's more, we are having a female astronaut for the first time and record. I understand that a lot of preparation and effort had been done for the upcoming event. Watching the live press interview of the 3 astronauts just makes me feel overwhelmed and that the task ahead is of great magnitude. I am hoping that the launch will be successful and most of all, incident free where I cannot help recalling the tragic Challenger 1986. All the best.

China also have a plan to send people in the moon at 2017, because the moon's sands are rich in helium 3 and helium 3 is an energy source that will kill oil industry because it is the ultimate energy source, a few ammount of it can power a whole city. so yeah Helium 3 will make China the richest country once they get there. USA's NASA have funding problems so China will get to invade the moon first.

I think the observers believe that China's space program would catch up with the US after 2017 which is based on the current rate of progress in this field. As for going to the moon for Helium is really quite unheard of, than a joint co-operation with Denmark for the production of green and friendly energy. Also, I do not think we will ever be ambitious enough to invade the moon for such a resource. This is in view of the threat to the earth's fragile ozone layer which can be destroyed with too much space launches, making this goal environmentally unsafe and unfriendly.

If only United States weren't focusing too much on war against terrorism and instead take down terrorism with out too much use of force, they could have use most of their military funding to create even a small colony on the moon. I bet when China space gets there, they'll know personally if there's alien structure there or not.

I would wish that the Government isn't acting bully against it's neighbors, specially my country. but despite of that i really have to admire the accomplishments that chinese had been doing over so many years. now, they are vasting into space and soon the moon. let's hope that the space program won't be use for tourism, it doesn't feel right Russia doing it.

I don't think you or your country should feel being bullied or intimidated. You should leave politics aside. The space program in my opinion is necessary especially when it is aiding technologies in communication, navigation, weather, research and observation. As for tourism, compared to Russia and America I don't think we are there yet and hopefully not especially when there are dire consequences to the environment starting with our earth's ozone layer.

aww, but that's the problem, we could have been learning to go into space if we get filipinos trained in china instead of USA. i think i feel intimidated and scared, even if our diplomats here are trying to negotiate. i am happy with the space program but am sad the govt. will be bullying us for a long time because of some stupid islands, i hope the islands drown deep
