Prayers for Today's Medical Tests, Etc.

I have to leave in about an hour to get some medical tests done before my surgery again on the 17th. I'm agoraphobic and have anxiety. So I'm pretty nervous. Plus this morning I woke up with a massive headache at 5 a.m. I am not sure if taking 2 Tylenol was OK before the Xrays or anything but otherwise I wouldn't have made the appts, it hurt so bad. I'm only supposed to have a light breakfast so I ate a granola bar only. There are a few "interviews" too I have do, one is via the nurse and other the insurance person. I think I'm more nervous about those 'interviews' than anything else. Sheesh, will I ever be happy to get home today. It was thundering earlier as well, but at least that stopped now. I'm not even sure what kind of Xrays they need to take, as I've had them all already (for my ovary cyst). Why more bloodwork, too?? Ugh. Prayers, if you pray, please? I'm so stressed.

Of course I will pray for you! Blood tests seem to be done quite often now to check for any changes or possible infections to possibly postpone your surgery. If the interviews are regarding your surgery it is more like signing away your life by understanding the risks with the surgery. Also they may want to judge your emotional and mental capacity to make sure you can be trusted and responsible in your decisions.

Blood tests sure do, I had about 4 vials taken from me today and then they wanted a urine sample too which I didn't know about until today. The interviews weren't as bad as I thought, but it is a relief that this part of it is over. Thanks for the prayers!

Good luck and prayers to you. If you stay confident and calm, it helps a lot. I know that is hard to think about it, but it does help if you can stay calm and focused.

Thank you missliss! I try to stay confident and calm but I guess the fear of the unknown, etc is what gets to me most.
