This is only to update you friends what happens to my two days training evaluation. And some stories behind it. We are 9 people in the group that have been interviewed and yesterday we attend the basic training. Today we are down to 6 people my friend who I go along with just decided not to join and the 2 guys also. And today is our last evaluation and I'm glad that from 6 people I was the one who choose to continue the training actually were only 2 chosen from the group. We will start tomorrow at graveyard shift with pay. I'm glad that we are working at night, I prefer to work at that time since I'm a night person. And I have more time at daytime to do some home task. What time of the day you chooses to work daytime or night time?

Congrats on the great news! I hope you are enjoying your job. I used to love to work evenings. I felt more rested and just all around better. That was a 3-11 shift. The only thing was that when my kids got to a certain age and started school, I would have never gotten to see them. So I moved to a morning shift. I hated it with a passion because I was a night person too. Third shift didn't work out for me great either..it did at first..but after a while it seemed as though I never got enough sleep. I had to be up at a certain time for the children and sometimes I couldn't go to sleep right away when I came in. I am pretty used to dayshift but when I am on vacation, I see myself getting back in to the night thing..lol.

It really works for me and to my daughter since we happened to see in lunch time when she have to go home from school to have some lunch and at the evening I left her that she will just go for a sleep.

Good for you. I like the swing shift best, but would probably choose graveyard over the days if given a choice, although fortunately I am retired and do not have to make a choice. You will love it!

Thanks, I have a life at night before I moved back here in my town that's why I got used to it. Even though it is almost 4years that I started a new life here at daytime, my body is still used to worked at night and I'm really looking for it.

im a night person. too. I can wake up until 4 am in the morning i want to be a call center agent, too knowing that there is a high compensation in the salary. however call centers are far from my city. my parents won't allow. I didn't know that it is hard to be hired in such work.

I prefer to work at night when I am home, but if I had to go out I don't like the graveyard shift, coming home that late and being a woman.

Anyway, you got your point. Sometimes it is really risky for a girl to be outside the house at night time.

That's great! Good for you for sticking it out and getting the shift you need! I really hope it works out for you! If I had to work, I guess any hours would be good but I think I'd like the midafternoon hours so I could be home when hubby gets home and more or less lead a normal life. But there again, what is normal these days? lol Just having a job at all is really good!

good to hear this one lyn. day by day, i see a lot of my friends here and so as from the other site, are into or working as call center agents. i learned from everyone that being an agent makes you richer. but with my regular job, i don't think i can manage to work in CC.

Lynn, it is good to hear that you are doing fine with your training. It is good that you like working at night since it is very cold not as hot as in the afternoon shift. But as for me, although i like the night shift job but i don't have the confidence to work at night. Because it is not safe for a lady to work at night in my area here. That's why, if we want to work outside, we will need to choose the morning job and back home by the evening. hope to hear more from you again...

when i was younger, i prefered the 3rd shift, then as i got older and married i started doing 2nd shift, but now as im much older i have a job that is first shift 6am -10 pm i has taken me a very long time to get use to this shift, i too for over 10 years was a night owl, hubby works second shift and i got use to his schedule.. so i love my job, but hate my sleep schedule, and i hipe one day that changes and i get use to it.. this morning i was off and woke up at 8am so i was proud :) its a start..
