Returned the rented clothes to avoid penalty.

The wedding was over so I need to return the clothes that I wore ( barong ) to avoid penalty. I just rented a barong instead of buying a new onr which is really quite cosy and just wear it in few hours cause I wa part of the wedding entourage. Luckily that I don't have work today so I personally return it and to get my ID too that I left as collateral hehe. Quite feeling lazy but still manage to go cause it will be so hot later this afternoon for sure.
Do you rent something that cause penalty due to not returning on proper time?

Yes, I rented gown for my niece last May but because of my schedule I am not able to returned it in due time so I was charged additional fees. Anyway I just happy that the gown really nice and fits to my niece she looks very pretty while wearing that gown. The lesson I learned that i will need to return what a borrow in due time to prevent from any aditional charge.

Yeah additional charges or penalties are not really good so we really have to returned things that we borrow in due time to avoid this.

Yes I have previously rented DVDs and I was not able to return them on time. I actually forgot the date so I needed to pay for the penalty fee. My husband also rented his tuxedo for our wedding. He said he gave the store owner 600 pesos and once he return the tuxedo, the amount will be return to him. Funny but he thought of not returning the clothes because he says it is more expensive than the amount he left.

Yeah some rental stores demand deposit for them to make sure that the borrower will return it. In my case, I left an ID.

We don't typically do a lot of renting, but when we got married eight years ago, all of the groomsmen and also my husband rented the tuxes that they wore for our wedding. The reason that we rented the tuxes was because of the fact that we are all generally simple people and there are very few occasions in our lives that a male wearing a tux would be something that would be necessary. Our family returned the tuxes for us because of the fact that we left the next morning for our honeymoon.
