Woman Kicker

I recently came upon an older article of this young lady who wanted to become a part of UCLA's football team as a kicker. The teammates and coaches were for it at the time even though I do realize there would be ramifications if this were to happen. Would some feel that she would receive preferential treatment, where would she dress and shower after games. Would the other team try to hit her harder, to prove they feel women do not belong in a mans sport, or softer? I myself do feel that she should be allowed to join the team as we become a more equal country. What is your opinion of this and is there such a thing anymore as a man' or woman's sport, or am I just wrong?
