Amalia Fuentes - stabbed with an umbrella

amalia - the woman stabbed with an umbrella
Philippines
July 5, 2012 11:35pm CST
it is reported that amalia fuentes was stabbed by an umbrella by their tenant when she was asking them to pay for their rent. the rent that the tenant has to pay amounted to as mush as 400,000 pesos and that is what Amalia was asking for. Her son was not spared since he was also there with his mother. the tenant and his wife got away and is now in hiding. It is sad that these tenants are the ones hurting the people who has allowed to stay at a place they can call home but then we really dont know what triggered the commotion. what are your opinion on this mylotters?

AS they always said money is the root of evil I'm just wondering and how and why it have to be the umbrella was used for stabbing?

Agree with Sinfulrose I think that saying is not totally true. Money is a neutral thing and won't harm anyone unless it is used by an evil person.

Money is just a neutral thing. The concept of money as being evil is just too over-rated and an excuse for greedy or ignorant humans. The humans are to blame for what they do--not the things around them because they are just that--things. Anyways, the thought of stabbing someone with an umbrella is not new anymore in the "stabbing someone category". Do notice that some umbrellas have sharp points. That's why whenever I walk alone, I always have an umbrella with me for protection in more ways than one. lol

money is just an object. the way that a person will view money is the way it turns a person either into an evil one or a good one. if a person views money as a vehicle to help others then i think it is good. but most people view money as a way to be above others and to disrespect others then that is disastrous.

the tenants are saying otherwise and hat thee were no incidents of them harming amalia fuentes. I do not know what to believe in this case. I just hope that the tqo parties will face each other... And not bash each other on he media. If she was indeed srabbed then she shuld just file charges do the coupe will be required to face the charges otherwise they are to be considered hiding as a guilty offender.

I agree with you, instead of exchanging words on media, I guess they have to either settle this on Brangay level if not then go to court now. I think things could go out of control when it is brought out in the public.

i agree with you both. even the brother of the tenant was already dragged in this messy case and he was even detained. I just wish that the media be fare and not give Amalia all the favor and time to speak for herself and her side. they should settle this disagreement in the proper place and with people that can help them to be fair.

I saw this on TV last night. And I saw the interview of the tenant's helper. According to him it was Amalia who started the commotion and she was the one who provoked the argument. He told the reporter too that his boss do not owe Amalia any money and that they are the ones being cheated by Amalia. I guess there's always two sides of the coin. We really cannot tell who telling the truth.

I hope that the truth will come out. there is already a video that will let us see who really fighted who, I think that in a way Amalia provoked the tenants because of her foul mouth. and she is getting all the attention because she was a former actress. she just did not act as a professional when she asked for the payment of the rent.

We can't really tell who is at fault because the tenants were telling that it was Amalia and his son that started the commotion. First it was the houseboy of the tenant that said it was Amalia who came and started the quarrel then later in a phone interview the tenant herself spoke and said the son of Amalia started the trouble then followed by Amalia and so on and so forth. We can't really tell the truth. I wish there is a hidden camera somewhere that could give a real clear replay of all the things that transpired. But as far as my imagination would tell me, I think the tenants do really have some unpaid due to Amalia so Amalia got mad and confronted them. So that started it all. Amalia and her son versus the tenants. What a troublesome world this one is. Why can't people settle things in a more civilized way?

you are right, why do cannot people settle things in a more civilized way. why do they resort to shouting and stabbing and letting their emotions get the best of them. we cant really know what happened but i do hope that the truth will come out.

Wow! That's near half a million already! How could such a rent go that much out of hand?! If you ask me, that's just over the roof!

Indeed. And boy, does she have a lot of issues with different people.

she would want to prove that she cant be pushed around but through her actions you can see that she is not well behaved or maybe well educated and so she does not tend to understand why people are angry with her and her actions.

very big rent really. I somehow kind of dont believe it but the tenants are saying that the amount is not correct because they paid part of it. maybe amalia was in real need of money to push the cases she filed in court against her other enemies

it is sad that such incidents are happening in this world.. somebody who gave you home and you do this is like very cruel act.. they should be caught and sentenced. we need to erase these kind of harmful people from our society. innocent people are suffering just because of some losers. this has to come to an end.

i do think that we should hear both sides. if the tenant really did not pay for the massive account. if the owner of the house really came in to fight and harass them for paying. since there are 2 sides of the story we must be fair to both.

oh wow 400,000 worth of rent? that is quite too much... but then again they could have talked nicely.. she might have been demanding too much probably? we do not know the whole story.

yes maybe the way she said that they have to pay such amount was irking the tenants and because of their anger they stabbed her. we dont really know and so the problem now became big because they have to settle it in the courts
