AT&T has a good deal going on that I think I can get next week when I get paid. If I'm reading it right, it's only $40.00 for the laptop and that's all you pay, you get the internet with it and I guess pay it at the end of the month on it's due date. I may get it but I need to call and make sure that I'm understanding it right. If I am then I'll order it when I get paid, it has free shipping. That way I can have it and be able to use the internet wherever in the house.
It'll be good becuase there are several sites i've not done because I can't do them on this computer.
It's an Acer by the way.
Windows 8 is already out, so it's a clearance deal.

It sounds like a scam to get you to buy their internet. $40 a month? I would definitely call them and make sure. So its wireless and you can use it anywhere in the house. Its Windows 7? I sure like mine. Hope it is what you think it is. Clearance is nice to a point. Hope it works out for you.

I will be calling to make sure that it's worth it. I'll talk to someone and get them to explain everything to me. I've used windows 7 before and really liked it. If this seems fishy and I don't like it I'll wait, get a laptop and then go with clear.com service, it's ten dollars extra but I think it's trustworthy.

I have been hearing about that Windows 8. There are alot of security options that I have heard that 8 is offering that are pretty neat. Photo passwords instead of words and stuff like that.
Sounds like that is a good deal. I would say there is a contract involved but if you can get a laptop for $40 and afford the service..sounds like the way to go for sure. Let us know what you find out about it.

I really do want it though I've been warned against using AT&T even by my own self. I still want to call them and investigate to see what I can find out about it. Even if as one person wrote, I'd basically be paying for the price of the laptop via the internet bill, oh well... I mean it's worth it to me.

I presume that this: http://www.att.com/shop/wireless/devices/acer/aspire-ao722-charcoal-black.html is the deal you are talking about.
That price is for a 2 year contract (otherwise you pay the 'no commitment price of $449.99) and, though it really doesn't make it clear, I think that what it means is $39.99 a month for 24 months, for which you get the laptop and the data allowance - a total cost of $959.76.
I'm pretty sure that the 'saving' figure shown is spurious. In fact, what you are paying is the cost of the laptop (plus HP charges) AND around $20 a month for the 4G service (which the note at the bottom warns: "4G speeds delivered by HSPA+ with enhanced backhaul. Not available everywhere. Deployment ongoing. Compatible device and data plan required. Learn more at att.com/network."

There's a similar offer here by my ISP, where you pay a small extra to get the promo bundle but that would include a two-year extension of contract. I am so tempted to get it but I am afraid I might not be able to maintain it. If you think you could afford it, then I say it's sounds like a good deal to me.

I've found that one should just avoid anything involving AT&T. I've never had a good experience with that company, and they have been rated as being the worst for customer service. I can attest to that.

I know that they haven't been great with customer service lately. I have also been told that when it comes to cell phones they can be the worst as well. Someone in my own family, who used to work for a company that was bought out by AT&T even used AT&T up until recently and hasn't liked them since. Still, I'm willing to call and ask a million questions first.

Hi friend, Glad to hear about this deal, surely it is a great offer, don't miss it and try to grab this. Really the laptop rate is very cheap like a mobile phone as well as you mentioned that they offer a free delivery. It is the high time to use this offer
