Not to compare or anything but well, let's face it, Haagen Dazs, Baskin Robbins, Breyers, Dippin Dots, Dairy Queen and many others are a bit pricey and not every one can afford them. Not to mention, not everyone is willing to spend that much for an ice cream. Maybe a little splurge once in a while will do. But, still, the frugal group will choose the better option that won't hurt their pockets. With the Koreans multiplying their numbers here in the country lately, there have been products from their country they brought with them here, as well. One of those are their famous ice creams. In the local groceries, they started marketing Melonas which cost less than 50 PhP each. There are also premium ice creams at around 50 to 65 PhP. I can't name them since they're written in Korean characters. Sorry. hehe Oh, there's this one called Cookie-O. Looks very delicious! Among everyone's favorites are: Cled'Or, the Chocolate Chiffon one and the the fish-shaped one. I had tried most of them but NEVER the Magnum! hahaha I had also tried the one from Malaysia called, Cookie Monster a few years back. I bought it from the mall somewhere in Fairview. But, I had never seen anywhere else since. There are really good products that aren't really pricey. But, I guess, everyone's most favorite is the one peddled in the street, which many call, the "dirty ice cream". It's featured in the popular program, "The Bizarre Food". Am not sure if these are available in other countries, by the way.
