I was just thinking of how to recreate these taco's. I've already figured the powdered cheese, but what would give it the spice of a dorito? Some chili powder? meh I'm not sure. In any case, I figured I'd put this on the shells by coating each side flipping it in the mixture. Then Letting that set in the fridge for awhile to make it "set". I need ideas with this though, what do you think would recreate the flavor?

Ive never heard of dorito tacos before, nor ahve I tried them. But they do sound delicious. I would say an assortment of spices, chili powder, pepper - maybe. I dont think you could recreate it to the t.

No, probably not. They are a new thing for Taco Bell. Not sure if they are at every taco bell or not. I want to try to recreate them though. I may take a look to see if I can find a website where someone already submitted one they've tried. I know a lot of people try to recreate what the food chains make.
