Few discussions recently on Mylot!

Dear friends Mylotters.
I'm sure the fact that lately, I can not read many discussions on Mylot, compared to a short time ago, is due to the effect-summer.
I think most user Mylotters are now on vacation, and maybe not have the opportunity to connect to the internet.
I do not know how else to explain this decline of threads in this period. This applies both to my friends, that the normal user with whom I share my same interests.
Ok, just go on vacation carefree, perhaps lying on a beach or elsewhere. In fact, even now I am on vacation, but fortunately here I find the possibility of being able to connect to the network.
Have you by any chance you too, dear colleagues Mylotters recently noticed a drop in the discussions on the site?
Please share your experiences.

Hi alberello, it could be possibly vacation which have made
mylot seem not so busy to you...
But the "todays top discussions" have been the same for seem like
weeks. They have not changed so maybe there is a glich somewhere
in the system...
I just deal with what I have and try to make the best of whats here,
and keep it moving..I try not to let things thats beyond my control
sweat me, it you know what I mean....

I also noted that "Today's top discussions" are always the same for many days. From what I could deduce that have been started much less discussion in recent times. However, from your responses, I was sure that this is due to the exodus of users to their holidays.
And of course I enjoy my vacation. In fact I'll come back on 1st of August!

yeah maybe some of us having their vacation that's why they don't have time to use mylot.But as for me,i don't go on a vacation because i'm managing a small business here and doing jobs online.It's kinda stressful but i don't have a choice because i'm supporting my family..how i wish one day i'll have time to unwind and rest..

Well, at least you think you can get lucky, a job even if "small". Unfortunately I'm unemployed at the time and predictions in this area are, in my opinion, everything else that optimistic!

I have noticed that their are only a small number of discussions being added to be honest i had never associated the smaller number of of discussions with it being summer.I have just started back on my lot after a break from it and assumed that my lot had less really active members.But luckily i can look forward to it picking up after people come back from holiday.The only annoyance is that it is quiet when i have the time to do lots of posts.

Well, in fact, as I wrote in my discussions, many people who are currently on holiday, maybe it is unable to write threads, maybe here because has no possibility to access the internet.

I hadn't thought of it being Summer..
But it could well be the explanation behind it. I do feel that even if i was on holiday, I may find myself on mylot.. but I do tend to take time off from it for months at a time myself... So can't really complain as i too don't stay on all the time.
I am hoping to come up with more posts myself, once i am able to think of something that is decent enough to post rather than it being something you talk to your friends down the pub! lol

you have told the issue and also the reason for the same -- it is mainly due to summer vacation and that too week end we have less number of discussions started. It is good that you are able to allot time for mylot amidst your vacation also. In the last one hour or so roughly 10 discussions only have been posted new.

Hi friend, i think you may right, Due to recent glitch in the mylot the hot topics and top discussions are not updated properly, so we don't get the proper hot and top discussions. Some persons gone for vacation and not active here, hope all the missing persons will come back soon

I, too, have noticed the decline in the number of discussions being posted on the site. Of course, it is not unusual for that to happen on social sites during the summer. People want to get out during the nice weather. During the cold autumnal and winter days, they tend to spend more time curled up with their computers.

Not sure if I detect a drop but a change. Thinking you are correct, many people are active in the summer time. I think there is a possibility that in August depending on the weather we will see more happy experiences.
Right now I am finding it too hot to enjoy outside activities and hoping for better weather. As for using a computer I just never know. It kind of goes along with my mood swings.
