I got paid for the first time from Helium

Last week, I finally reached the $25 needed to cash out at helium. I have been with the site several months and I first heard about it from other mylotters. Some mylotters are happy with the site while others are not. So what's new? That's true with every site, correct?
So last week, I requested my payment for the first time. I read the payment information and found that I was supposed to get paid today.
This morning, I began to get a little anxious. This is the feeling that comes every time I am hoping to get paid for the first time from a a site. I always think "what happens if I don't get paid?". In fact, I was getting ready to begin a mylot discussion asking other mylotters who are on helium when I might get paid.
First, I checked my emails and lo and behold, PayPal was notifying me that helium had sent me $25 and change. It was such a good feeling.
Don't you feel really good when you get your first payment from a site? Doesn't it make you trust the site more? It makes me want to work harder on helium and write more for the site.

yay! Congratulations for that first payout! I still don't experienced having paid because i'm fairly new to online earnings but one thing is for sure, i'll have that same feeling as yours. Just the idea alone, that i'll be getting my payment in mylot, is already an uneasy and excited feeling.^^, a mixed emotions actually that is a bit hard to describe.

Welcome to mylot. It's a really good and interesting unique site. There are not many sites like mylot. You will have a lot of fun and learn a lot. And better still, you will get paid. I have been paid more than once and I can vouch for the site.
Happy mylotting.

Good job an your achievement.
A trusted site is a paying site. With lots of scams in the web, they tend to drive talented writers away.
Never had my first payout of any site on the web, but looking forward to get my first here in myLot. I will exert more effort to have more of it. Thanks

You should have no trouble earning your first payout on mylot. I have been paid more than one time. We, mylotters, have some control about how soon we reach cash out. This is not true on all sites. The more that we post, the more that we earn.
Happy posting and here is to your very first payout.

The gratification of really seeing those payments does make you want to work harder. I am glad you got paid. We have not seen you for awhile.

Well, I went to Boston for my 50th high school reunion. I had a truly wonderful time. Between getting ready for the trip, the trip itself and getting settled in after the trip, there has not been a lot of time left over for my many online sites. Something had to give.
I have been responding to a few discussions but very few. There have also been some mylot technical problems. This is the first discussion that I began before leaving for my trip.
I have nothing against second, third and fourth payments, but there is something special about the first payment. It os the first payment that causes you to realize this site is legit. I can trust this site. The first payment bonds you to the site.

I think that you and I have discussed helium before. I like the site also but I still find it difficult to find titles to write to. I have a lot of really good ideas but I can not find the titles. I mainly earned my helium money by rating articles, not from my writings.
Every writing site seems to have some quirks.

Hello, Phil. That's great news. I was one of those who encouraged you to join Helium, so I'm glad you made the payout. I also took months to make my first payout, but you know what? The second one seemed to come about in no time at all.
Now I regularly make payout twice a month, so it's good that you're encouraged to write more there. You need to build up a portfolio of articles so you raise your residual income, and if you can't find titles to write to, suggest them through the 'suggest a title' page. Have a go at some of the contests as well. Congratulations, and keep up the good work.

I'm quite busy with other writing projects, both at Helium and elsewhere, so I don't get here as often as I'd like. I've made myself a promise to visit at least once a week and catch up with my friends here, and I saw this. I'm glad to see you're more inspired. It's definitely worth hanging in there.
I am a paid title seeder at Helium, so if you want to message me over there with suggestions for titles, I can perhaps craft them in a way that would suit both yourself and Helium.

You are the person who most encouraged me to stay with helium. You support was invaluable. I am at work, on my iPad. I will write more from home n

I am home now and on my computer. Because of your encouragement, I stayed with Helium. You are the person who told me that if I spent about 10 minutes a day rating articles, I would get $3 a month.I took your advice. I was able to maintain 5 stars for ratings and earn $3 every single month. That is why I have been able to earn my first $25 plus change. I also have reached two stars for my writings.
I have tried suggesting titles but with no success. My suggestions do not seem to work well. I like writing to titles when I can find the right title because I like having my articles rated and compared to others. Some of my articles have done well and some not so well. I could leapfrog some older articles but I tend to prefer to move on rather than edit old articles. I plan to keep writing for Helium.
I am glad that you responded to my discussion. I have not seen you on mylot in some time.
