Premium and basic channels

We have satellite television from Dish Network. We have a few premium channels to watch on it. We had to buy that package because there is not much to watch on the basic channels. Do you watch basic television channels or do you buy premium channels as well?

I get the premium channels as well as well as the movie channels, but do not get the foreign channels, although they would help because I am trying to learn Italian. You do not get much choice on the basic channels and the news on them is just the left wing point of view. I wish I could get the foreign channels, but right now cannot afford them. I watch Foxnews and Sunnewsnetwork a lot as well as reality crime shows and of course movies, mostly mysteries and Romantic Comedies.
So far do not have that much time to watch.
