based on the novel by Ken Follet. About the life of people in England, in the time where there was war over the crown, by Princess Maude and Prince Henry II. and they were making this cathedral, that looked like the Salisbury Cathedral . it was a really nice, and engrossing story. About life, love,family,promises and death.. mostly about what people would do to achieve their ambitions and get power and wealth. But lots of life lessons learned too.. and all the actors were great.

Started watching this miniseries. Never finished it. You're right. It was a stellar cast.

I am interested of watching it. Thanks for this wonderful mini series. I have searched about it and it seems so good. I will try to watch it when I will have a copy of it. I love to watch movies about the history of England or anything related to England.

hiya!
I watch that too. I only knew of it when I was channel surfing and was able to catch the start of the movie. I believe it was a mini series then was shown as a 4 part movie on Star Movies.
I was able to watch the first 2 but I wasnt able to watch the last two. I'm still curious as to how the movies ended and am curious on how the characters ended up.
It was interesting indeed.

This sounds like a good movie. I will have to add it to my queque on Netflix. I do love my Netflix. I am watching One For the Money tonight. I just sent back The Awakening the new Underworld sequel. Will do a discussion on it soon. I have put it on my list. This one that is.

I don't know about the story but it sounds like an historical epic tale and I like that kind of story. I will check more about it. I like stories which have the old time scene background no matter which country the story from since we can just watch it as a movie in tv.(^^)
