As for me, i'll take advantage of the present technology today. Unlike before, we can communicate with them instantly via chatting, video conferencing, call and texting to name a few.

hi, for me even thought we have a new technology now i can still never say that a relationship will be in good or healthy,we cant say that communication is reliable for a good and healthy relationship because yes we can say we communicate but we cant see the real he/she doing there.

Aside from investing in really quality internet connection (believe me it's so frustrating to go Skyping when you have a crappy internet provider), I will have to be very very patient. I also make it a point to express my love for him in creative ways, like how to say "I love you" in other ways other than just saying it outright. Its a hard work for both parties in order to make it work because distance isn't just something that makes the heart grow fonder; it is also the biggest home-wrecker.

Long distance relationship can work both sides put their sincere efforts into trying to make it work. However it is usually very hard to maintain a long distance relationship because there are just so many factors against it such as people changing over time and the loneliness of not being with someone. In order for it to work, there must be some kind of communication and sacrifices that both people must be willing to make.
