If you have telephone you must have an experience to attend wrong number calls. It is really a troublesome sometimes to answer them. Some people, apologize and regret after knowing that they have dialed a wrong number. But some people are dam sure that they have dialed a correct number and we are making a fun of them by saying that it is a wrong number they have dialed. They are not ready to accept their mistake. On the contrary they start arguing, asking which number this is, what city, who are you, why you are not calling a person whom they are asking for and so on like that. The best way is to disconnect instead of increasing our voice and headache. What do you do in such cases.

I don't do that I don't just hang up on someone. First off if it's a number that is calling me that I do not know then I will not answer. I've had people call and leave me messages for other people that don't own the phone I have I just deleted the phone call. I've had some women where yes I've accidentally dialed the wrong number and she started calling me names for no reason because I call twice but both times I said I was sorry and then hung up but no instead she called me back two times I didn't answer because I didn't know the number and it wasn't showing up on my cell phones caller id. Instead she wanted to leave rude messages. I thought about calling her back and ask her if this is how her parents raised her to be a mean and rude person after someone has clearly said they worry sorry for calling the wrong number but I have to get in touch with someone to let them know that yes my husband is in the hospital and I might need some help with someone coming to get my 8 month old daughter. I was the bigger better person just deleted the messages and left it as is.

I've actually never had the experience of someone insisting that I have lied to them when I tell them that they have dialed a wrong number. Instead, most of the time, they will apologize for being an inconvenience to me and we will hang up from the call. There have been a few times, however, that the person that has made the mistake call will talk for a few minutes just because of the fact that they needed someone to talk to.

Prank calls do happens at times.
I don't have any experience with rude callers.
But I have experience many times people calling assuming they are calling the right number.
After giving them that they are calling a wrong number, they just ask apology and disconnect.

Yeah. You are right.I have experienced this. They are that sure that they have dialed correct. I think here the problem is of telephone company itself. There is a machine which receives your request and connects to that person whom you want to talk. When this machine accidently connect other people, This wrong number thing arises.I said that this type of case can also arise...

Oh I do get wrong numbers and when I do I apologize by
saying I think I have reached the wrong number and say
sorry to have bothered you..
I hate when people call and I tell them its the wrong
number and they preceed to ask me questions , and most
of the time I just hang up but then sometimes they catch
me wrong and I let them have a few choice words and they
hang up....LOL...

yeah, some people just find it funny to irritate others by doing this. But, it is not at all funny. I think once you know that so and so number is bulling you, Just put that number on BAR. Not all phones have this system but new ones definitely have. So check on your mobile and bar the number that is troubling you.
