The Eat Bulaga - Indonesian Version -

Philippines

Good day Fellow Mylotters, A while ago, I was watching a weekend TV Program wherein they have featured the making of Eat Bulaga-Indonesia. Honestly, I feel so great and proud when I saw it. Hence, it was my first time to hear that a foreign country will purchase rights to patent a Philippine show. And it was unusual. Hence, what is usual was, it was the Philippines who most of the time purchase some rights to copy the shows being aired outside the Philippines. But now, the scenario was different. It was the Philippine very owned show "Eat Bulaga" was the one being copied and being aired abroad.

Hopefully they will also have their own version of Wally, Jose, and Bosing. I saw an episode on Youtube and I noticed that their girls are wearing rather long outfits. I know they're not allowed to show skin in Indonesia, but I just find it off-putting. I think they should discard that part of the show altogether rather than make them dance around in an outfit made for nuns.

Haven't heard of this until now, but, yes, you are definitely right. It somehow gives us pride as Filipinos to have something like this. It's like an honor. Well, it's not really surprising though, as Eat Bulaga has really turned into a very good noontime show. It's about time Philippine television gets this attention.

Same here! I also feel proud that we are a great influence to our fellow Asians. Indonesia is not so different from the Philippines. Eat Bulaga is already an institution. Since I was a child this old noon time show still exist until today.

That's a very proud moment for us Filipinos. Yeah I know. The Filipinos are the ones always copying other foreign acts and programs. hehehe. This is a historical feat for Eat Bulaga.
