Dirty Dancing on TV.

I saw last night Dirty dancing on TV. It´s not the first time: it might be closer to the 5th or 6th time I see it. I never tire of it. It´s a wonderful movie, the dancing is awesome and the characters too. It´s a pity that the main actor, Patrick Swayze died to young. For those who haven´t seen it: it´s a classic, I´d say. Although the dancing was awesome, I also liked the plot. THat sort of thing was the kind of things that happened before the 60s.

THere are somemovies that never grow old. This is one of them. It is very interesting how the dance can be so sensual, yet there`s nothing grosse that would shock anyone. And the historic period is very well shown too.

Yes, I was sorry to find out that Patrick Swayze passed away, as I really liked Dirty Dancing! Son enthusiastic and energetic dancing!

I found the dancing awesome, but also the story, very well set at the time of the story. Patrick Swayze was a wonderful actor and a handsome man.

I've seen it to many times and still i love it when I see it again. I'm a dance teacher that's why I love the way when they dance I like the moves and the music.

I love it every time I see it. The sensuality of the dance appeals a lot to me as I am latinamerican.

You are right. But it also shows about class differences and portrais an era where there were no other possibilities of birth control but abortion.

hi,
actually for me there is no wrong for a dirty dancing,and aside from that i amaze to those people who can do dirty dancing in many viewers,and for me i cant called it a dirty but a seductive dancing maybe that is more great rather than in a dirty.

I wasn't that impressed by it. Maybe I've seen many other romantic movies before or I was too old when I saw it for the first time (about 17 or so), but I found it a bit cliché and boring. But I've never been a typical girl, either, and I'm more into more weird, twisted drama movies more.

What titles of movies are the ones you like? I am very much interested in what people think about movies and about any kind of art. I did not find this movie borieng though because the dances were very sensual and that is not usial in a movie without falling into bad taste.
