Mancini must be realistic that DDR is AS ROMA soul..
if there are insane club want to offer De Rossi, so it means AS ROMA is insane too when selling this player..
DDR is not for sale..
we don`t care if Manchester city or PSG have much money..we never want get money and let De Rossi go from us...
do you believe that DDR will leave Olimpico??

Daniele De Rossi is surely an important player for Roma. But it is also the fact that he is a very good footballer that he attracts interests from so many teams. He first played for Roma in 2001 and he has never won a Serie A title with Roma in more than 10 seasons. DDR is 29 years old now. He does not have much time to stay in his prime to try to win something. I can understand if he wants to look for a new challenge to win something and at the same time, to make more money to secure his retirement which may come in 5 years' time.
But I don't think he wants to leave, although his club's director of football, Walter Sabatini, had said that it would take more than 100 million Euros to take DDR away. It means that if there is an insane offer comes in for DDR, Roma will be insane not to take a look at it. After all, they are still businessmen. Professional football is still a business. But I don't think anyone will pay such a sum, not even PSG, Manchester City or Chelsea.

i never heard that DDR want to seek any challenge from another club..
this is the first time i read and heard about DDR statement or opinion about it..
DDR say he is happy with ROMA..
it happens to Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol when they are loyal to barcelona..they are really happy staying longer in Nou camp..

wait a minute..you can`t catch my point..
DDR and Totti are similar with Messi,Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol in Barcelona, and Gerard and Carragher in Liverpool..
they are local product of the youth academy of the club..
if you want compare Samuel Eto`o and Yaya Toure with DDR, you make a wrong comparation...maybe you should compare Mexes, Chivu in AS ROMA with Andy Caroll, Luis Suarez in Liverpool or with Yaya Toure and eto`o..i mean they are great player but of course because they are not local product, their loyalty are not bigger like the local product of the team..

No, that is not a statement from DDR. That is just an 'IF' as in " I can understand IF he wants to look for a new challenge to win something.."
Yes, I think he has said that he is happy with Roma.
As for Messi, Xavi, Iniesta and Puyol, yes, I think they are happy in Barcelona too. But it is easier to be happy when they are the first choice players, and that the team they are playing is winning trophies. Yaya Toure and Samuel Eto'o would have wanted to stay in Barcelona but they were not wanted and sold. Sometimes a player can only be loyal if you are allowed by your club. Take for example, Andy Caroll, he wants to be loyal to Liverpool but his manager just does not want him to.

Hello adhy,
Nowadays very frankly can be noticed that every buying and selling the player become an important between the clubs. They just runs out with big transfer until can spent a lot of money to buy just a player only.
And according to the statement above he may leaves the club if he think can have a great future and get a good reputation playing for a new club.

I think it is very difficult to say anything these days. Unlike in the olden days the loyalties these days are not so strong. Also with coaches from different countries coaching in different countries, some of these players feel comfortable working with certain coaches though they are a club which might not be their first choice.
Cheers!
Ram

only in AS ROMA, you get several player that commit and loyal to their club...Giuseppe Gianni, the previous prince before TOtti, and then Aldair, after in his homeland, Brazil, he is AS ROMA legend..he never moves to another club..
now the era of Totti and De Rossi..
we know that money is important but there are many factors why there are few loyal player like above player..

Never say no especially when a club like Man City comes knocking on the door. If they are desperate enough for the player, they can and is capable of throwing gross amount of money at Roma. At the same time, they can make DDR the best paid player in the world. While DDR might be the soul of the team, every team can recover even if their best players flew away from the nest.

issue of DDR transfer is actually started from several seasons before. but there's no signal that DDR will leave Roma. He's next Roma captain and had already prepared for Totti substitte. It will be stupid decision if Roma let him go and gave the chance for club who want him

I never imagined when Daniel De Rossi will leave AS Roma, because it will never happen and because of Daniel De Rossi is an icon and soul of AS Roma with Totti Franscesco. If there is an intriguing team, De Rossi will probably reject it because he would prefer AS Roma as a team for good.
