Hello there gang, Well it is me again and my topic for now is about calluses, yes's calluses the thickening of the skin most likely caused by pressure pushed upon that particular area, common in hands and feet. And this topic is about my calluses in my middle finger, that is caused by excessive writing or in documentation that i do as being a staff nurse, we write down important facts that we do to our patients as well as there symptoms and vital statistics medication and fluid intakes, now that is too much writing to cause calluses on a finger. How about you guys anything like this?

I don't have calluses any more because I type everything, but when I was in school, I had a big callus on the middle finger of my right hand. I think everyone did!

Hey there hetylim, Thanks for sharing that, i mean really, writing down really puts a lot of pressure on that part of our hands and really causes this calluses to grow on those areas what do you use as remedy i put Vaseline on it when i am home and when i think it is so thick i clip it with nail-cutters.

I used to have calluses on my hand when I was still in college because I write a lot. Then when I was working and I need to wear those high-heeled shoes, I got calluses most at the back of my feet. It annoys me whenever I have blisters on my feet especially if I wore new shoes and this results to new calluses. Good thing now that I'm just staying at home, those calluses were gone.

Hey there tetris, Yeah those must have really hurt and sucked the whole day, before my sister was an office gal and she would get those nasty things on her feet too so that sometimes i get her a masseuse to help relieve the pain on her foot and also a foot scrub at the local parlor so that she can pamper her feet.
