Hey there lotters
It is me again about the things that i do with my life and now am talking about three colored pens, yeah a pen that has blue, black and red which is essential for us nurses because we have three time zones in the hospital in our hospital at least 6am to 2pm we use blue, 2pm to 10pm we use black and red pen for 10pm to 6am in our charting or documentation on what we do or the observations we write down kinda neat huh.

Oh, they allow you to use red in the nurses' notes? Perhaps it depends on the policies of the hospital. There is one hospital I know that they only want black for the charts because they think that the charts are formal documents and so, it should only have blank ink

Well it is only for the charting since it signifies the time frame that the entry was made anyway we don't use it just in case we have to right down orders from doctors thought we can only use either black or blue but i always use blue for doctors orders since it is more formal, it is really different for each hospital I think.
