Splinters

Has anyone tried doing the baking soda paste to remove splinters from your skin? Does it work? Splinters are always so tricky to get out if you can even get them out. I was thinking I could of tried this the other week when I got one in the webbing between my pointer and thumb. I just let my skin push it out, but I will tell you it was annoying til it did come out.

I haven't tried that but the duck tape does work well for pulling it out....

I've heard that using white, or school, glue works.

hydrogen peroxide works better.the bubbles will help push it out sometimes.

I used pin or needles just to get out and tweezers to pull it out. It is more easier for me.

When I get them, I take a pin, pierce it slightly, just by the splinter's opening and push it out. Always works for me. Sounds gore but works. Good luck!

I've never heard of that, but I did hear someone say that regular Elmer's White Glue like the kind children use in school (the stuff in the bottles) works well for removing slivers. I once saw someone on TV in a hospital use it to remove cactus barbs from a guy.
