We don't have much in the way of biting insects here in Ireland,though we do have bees,wasps and Midges..I was thinking the idea sounds ideal for those affected by mosquitos..have you heard of this gadget? tried one? the principle seems to be that it creates a heat point that you apply to the bite (it's battery powered) and a short time of heat "treatment" kills the itch..
