Every now and then, update on the the search, rescue and retrieval operations of the ill-fated small plane that crashed on Masbate Bay Saturday, August 18 carrying Sec. Robredo, others is flashed on TVs. It's the 3rd day today of the search but no sign of the missing unfortunate passengers have been found, except one. What appropriate comments or suggestions can you say about this incident?

This news is just a downer for me being a Nagueno myself. For the past days I was always looking forward in seeing and finding him alive. But I guess our Creator has other plans for him. I guess his mission here on earth is already done and he deserved the rest he truly deserves. But I truly missed this great person. I saw what he did to my place Naga City. He was a great servant leader and a visionary that he was able to convert our city from a third class to first class city. From a City that did not have money to a city that has improved under his term. I truly was the first beneficiary of what he did to my hometown.

I still see him as our Naga City Mayor than the DILG secretary. He is a great man indeed. I have never seen such support is such a short time serving the department. For now, I am bidding a good man goodbye and may he finally rest in peace with our dear God!

I join you in your prayer that Almighty God may give him his rightful place in his kingdom.

I think that the old adage – Good guys die first – is a complete fit for this situation. Why do the good guys fish first? It would have been good if there are still many like him in left in our goveremnt. Makes you think that there is still hope. Then again, my sympathies and prayers for him and his family and friends.

What could be God's intention of harvesting good guys first rather than the bad eggs?

I certainly do not claim myself as knowing what God's intention is with that. But I believe at the end of the world, only the worst kind of people are left to experience the worst kind of calamity. Anyone with even a bit of good deeds will be spared from such worst suffering...

If my memory doesn't fail me, someone has said, God knows best why he's letting other bad characters do their worst in society, compared to others. I'm undecided on the matter.

Hi, Condolences to the citizens of this Republic. We just lost one man that could have done great things for the nation and for the future generations. What has been, it was; what could have been, it shall never be.

Everything has a reason and what is it we can only surmise. Let's not lose hope. Someone has said: The darkened sky is but a harbinger of another day where we may peer through bare branches for silver lining.
